Busy Parents On The Go, Essential Items For Your Diaper Bag

it seems like just yesterday that I was going to be a mom for the first time. I relied on tips from my OB/GYN, parenting magazines, and experienced parents. Truthfully,I was overwhelmed. I had no idea what to expect, and was confused as to what I really needed to travel with my baby. The day finally came, and my precious bundle was here! Then it was time  for an outing. I had my diaper bag stuffed with more items then I would ever need. Fast forward two years later when I had my second boy, and outings became a breeze! They say the second child is easier, and I completely agree, with the second child you  have a sense of confidence that is not usually present with your first child. Today, I would like to share with you the essential items you need in your diaper bag to give you confidence with all your children.

the first time you go out with a new baby, it can be a bit nerve wracking. Sometimes, it is quite easy too over pack for the outing. Placing too many items in your bag, can make it difficult to find items when you really need them. I recommend putting less in your diaper bag, and always organize the bag for quick access to your items. Here are the items I recommend.

First, you need a good diaper bag, they can range in price from Cheap to very expensive. It is important to make sure the bag has compartments, and is easy to organize for quick access.

Diapers and wipes. I recommend bringing at least one diaper for k every hour or two that you will be out. Babies can soil themselves often and this is one item where less is not more!

Hand Sanitizer is important to keep both you and your little ones free from germs.

Pacifiers for baby. Pacifiers are a wonder to calm a crying baby down. Unfortunately, not all children use them. My children never took to it. Please feel free to skip this one if your children do not use a pacifier.

Breast feeding cover for privacy while feeding your baby on the go.

Changing pad for changing diapers on the go.

Change of clothes for your little one. Unfortunately, diapers always seem to leak when you are out. Be prepared!

Formula dispenser packed with extra for long trips.

Baby food, and snacks for older children.

Finally, water bottles and SippyNipple for easy, leak proof feeding for parents on the go. It is perfect for use with water, juice, and formula. SippyNipple is dishwasher safe, BPA free, and has a leak proof money back guarantee. SippyNipple comes in three different sizes, 3 months, 6 months, and toddler size. I use it exclusively for its convenience, and ability to convert water into a baby bottle. I love that I no longer have to carry stinky baby bottles around. I can now simply throw my water bottle out in the recycling, and I'm done! SippyNipple is a staple in my diaper bag, and I hope you will use it in yours!

I hope these tips helped with planning outings with your baby! I try now to remember that they are only little for so long, and not to stress. I always organize, and be prepared. Lastly, don't sweat the small stuff! I wish you many happy outings with your little ones!
